About me

Hello, my name is Ian Gray. I am a qualified Cognitive Hypnotherapist in Windsor Berkshire. My professional qualifications are: DipCogHyp,HPD,PNLP,MNCH (Reg).

My Background

Before running my successful Windsor Berkshire hypnotherapy practice I was a Business Manager working for a FTSE 100 Company. I had enjoyed a successful corporate career for nearly 20 years, developing strong people skills, and which enabled me to travel to the far corners of the world experiencing the knowledge and wisdom of many cultures.  After many enjoyable years I left the corporate world in January 2009.

Eureka – The Quest Institute

I had always had an interest in how the mind works and helping people. I then came across The Quest Institute (founded by internationally-recognised Trevor Silvester). This exceptional organization provides one of the most rigorous hypnotherapy training programs available, teaching leading-edge hypnotherapy, disciplines & techniques and whose qualification process is one of the most thorough and well renowned in the UK.

And Now…

I am a professionally qualified and fully insured Cognitive Hypnotherapist in Berkshire and Practitioner of NLP (neuro linguistic programming). Practicing hypnotherapy in Windsor.

I am a Quest Institute trained therapist, the standards I commit to adhere to can be found here http://www.questinstitute.co.uk/

I am a registered member of the National Council of Hypnotherapy – NCH, (MNCH (Reg). I have been awarded there NCH Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma (HPD) which is the first nationally accredited hypnotherapy qualification awarded by the NCFE National Awarding Body. As a member of the NCH I adhere to their strict code of ethics and am committed to continuing my professional development and to the highest standards of professional conduct. The NCH code of ethics can be viewed here http://www.hypnotherapists.org.uk/about-nch/code-of-ethics/

I am registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). The CNHC is the UK regulator for complementary healthcare practitioners. Its key function is to enhance public protection by setting standards for registration with CNHC. The CNHC ‘quality mark’ is being recognised as the hallmark of quality for the sector.

Background – In 2000, following the House of Lords Science and Technology Report on Complementary and Alternative Medicines, The Princess Foundation for Integrated Health (PFIH) set up the CNHC to regulate the quality of practitioners to protect the public. The programme was supported by King’s Fund and Department of Health. The Department of Health recommends that, where CNHC registers a professional discipline, you consult with a person who is CNHC registered. In this way you know the person practicing is regulated, and you are protected.

CNHC Registration OOOO49-C13
